March 2013 Announcement
We are announcing a guardhouse and a drive-through shed. The guardhouse features entry doors on both sides and is designed to split a perimeter fence. This allows access through a "street side" door, you pass through security, then exit to the fenced in area. There are windows on all 4 sides for better visibility. The drive-through shed (called a tractor shed in some parts of the country) has 8' roll-up doors at each end. We mold the open door frame and give you 2 doors to add if you like. You can even cut the door down and have it partially open. These new items will be offered in brown, a new color for the line, as well as gray and green in this run.

We will also produce the yard office and workshop in brown. Please note that soon we will introduce another new color - red - and also add the new building versions in other colors that are currently available.

November 2010 Announcement
We are announcing a new pair of green buildings and taking orders for restocking the blue and tan Armco building. These buildings are painted, assembled and Ready-To-Place on your layout. Small Utility Building footprint: 2 1/8" by 1 1/4" plus 3/16" roof overhang each side.

Stock Checks:

Inventory is a fluid commodity.  It changes by the hour (sometimes by the minute). To retain our pricing structure we maintain stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each year. We cannot guarantee stock status till we have an order in hand. All product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm that we have it, and, while we are waiting for the order it sells, you would be upset that we did not hold it.
We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson. When we held items for customers’ orders, the order never materialized 80%+ of the time.  We lost out on the orders placed while the item was on hold.  Also we wasted staff time that could have been used to pull actual orders.
Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not mean we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms pages, we don’t do it anymore. You may, however, call in and we will tell you if the items are available and if possible attempt to locate what we don’t have while you are on the phone.
